Places of Worship

Mass is celebrated at St. Mary’s (Bairnsdale), St Patrick’s (Paynesville), St. Canice’s (Lindenow), Immaculate Conception (Omeo), Sacred Heart (Swifts Creek) and St Francis of Assisi (Benambra).

Mass Times

Due the the geographical size of our Parish, Mass is celebrated at different times and locations throughout East Gippsland.

Times should be checked with this page before travelling.

Pastoral care

Our Pastoral Council consists of our Priests together with a group of parishioners nominated by the parish community. Their role is to promote the Church’s mission to live and communicate the love and values of Christ in our world.

Child Safe Parish

The Diocese of Sale is continuing to work towards creating Child Safe Parishes. Whilst we still deal with the horrors of the past and endeavour to bring healing to the hurts, we are trying to look forward, too, as we make a more conscious effort to create safe and supportive Parishes for everyone, but especially for children.

At St Mary’s Op Shop, everything you buy or donate inspires change in our local community. It stocks a wide range of donated items including furniture, electrical goods, clothing, footwear, toys and books.
